What makes it different from other pigeons? Where did they came from?

The Birmingham Roller Pigeon is a breed that originated from Birmingham, England which is a result of selective breeding for their ability to do a backward flip while flying.
Another similar breed that does somersaulting is the Parlor Roller pigeon but they roll on the ground and doesn\’t fly like the Birmingham Roller.
